**UPDATE** The contractor is currently ahead of schedule and the Scioto Parkway bore pit work is scheduled to begin MONDAY MAY 15TH.
If you live along Scioto Parkway, Scioto Chase or Letterman Drive, you may have recently noticed construction activity in the Scioto Reserve North Expansion Park.
The Delaware County Commissioners and The Concord Scioto Community Authority has recently approved Metro Development and the Trucco Construction Company to proceed on the Clark Shaw Trunk Sewer Project 3. The construction will begin with some preliminary clearing scheduled to start March 28, 2017, and is estimated to be completed in September. Upon completion, the sewer connection will help to alleviate capacity issues experienced by our ever growing development.
For the safety of all residents, the park will be closed for the duration of the project. Metro Development is committed to the refurbishment and restoration of the area after installation, and the Scioto Reserve Master Association will be working together with Metro throughout the project and as the restoration begins to ensure the open space is returned to a better condition than it stands currently.
